Aye, the fates conspire against me - yes they do.

No sooner than 10 minutes after I hang up my snorkel and bid this biggerboat a fond adieu does some low-level jock playing for a cellar dweller professional ball club haul back and publically smack a sausage.

Dear reader, there is no greater fodder for Blog talk than a grown man caught live on ESPN wacking wienerschnitzel, smacking a salami, bopping a bologna - well you get the point.

Alas, the chance came and went, quicker than the media fixation on monkeypox. And with it went my chance to write about it. Oh sure, your resident boozehound and oh-yeah, creative director, went and unlocked my Blog. Even with tools before me, I couldn't help but remember my Tomb Raider - "Tempus Fugit" - "Oh, yes. Time Flies!!!" Indeed, Ms. Croft it does.

So there I am, sitting before my laptop late Thursday afternoon, clockwatching and wondering if I should get around to filing my TPS report when suddenly it hits - an e-mail invitation from my Wisconsin based client inviting me to an all expense paid trip to Milwaukee to see a Brewers game from their luxury site. Milwaukee - Home of the Big Ragu!!! More importantly, home of that sneaky lil' sausage.

I too shall whack. Whack away at that dastardly lil' sausage. He can run but he cannot hide.

I shall be practicing my mantra in preparation for the big game.
