I was just looking at a picture of the world's most-pierced man and it got me thinking about the usual things: how I need a job, how my hobbies aren't going to get me a job (unfortunately) and how I need some direction in my life. It also made me ask: How the heck did this guy let someone pierce his face so many damn times?

If only I had this guy's determination. He wanted to see himself as more metal than man, and now he's ready to tackle the world. But then again, it must be hard to brush his teeth, wear headphones, or even blink, for that matter.

So I guess what all of this contemplation about one crazy guy tells me is that I need direction, I need a goal: whether it's eating all of the baked pita chips in that gigantic bag from Costco in one sitting (sorry about the bad grammar), or selling off my earthly possessions and taking that hard-earned $45 down to Target and buying freeze-pops and filling the freezer with them and waiting...just waiting until they freeze and then stringing them together to form a vest that I can wear and suck on it I get hungry in the summer time when it's hot and there's not all this bloody snow everywhere.

I think I'll go with a little from column A, a little from column B, and maybe throw in a few more hours pursuing the idea of getting a job at Ticketmaster just so I can buy U2 tickets for their shows in May at the Fleetcenter. I bet that the employee discount is pretty great (but you probably don't notice it after they add in all the 'convenience charges'). Is anyone else fed up with them?
