There is a SMOG alert in place in Toronto Today, and there was another one earlier this week. It is FEBRUARY. It's only 9 degrees (celcius) today, which is warm for here, but not warm for, say, LA or Mexico City. I believe this is the first time this has happened in winter here (not the temperature, but the warning-level smog.)
This would proabably point to the real reason I get a headache every single time it's unseasonably warm in this city, but nowhere else I've been to so far. It's nothing I'm eating. It's not that I'm dehydrated. It's not my teeth or my eyesight. None of these things are issues outside of this metropolis.
When the temperature here goes up even a little, everyone loses their minds. People order ice cream and eat on patios in their winter jackets and convince themselves its time to shovel the snow off the tenis courts.
